Bear Seasons

My new pattern 'Bear Seasons' is nearly ready to go....

The booklet has two versions of the same quilt, One applique and One Stitchery.  You can make one or make both.... Accompanying the quilts is a cute little cushion for you to make...

Ballan Quilt Show

Had a great time at the Ballan Quilt Show on Saturday.  Caught up with some old friends and made some new ones too, lots of Lovely quilts to look at, and some new and interesting products to purchase...

Garry from Warburton Tea House kept up with his chores and made a great cuppa for me too...thanks Garry....Hope to come back next Year..

 

Hope to have a new sample for you soon... The above block is from 'Hearts and Dragonfly's '.  A Class for this is in May at Mrs Martins Quilt Shop at Monbulk....

Travel Set

Here is something you will need if you are going to travel.....A document Holder that looks better than the plastic ones they give you at the travel agents...Fits all your travel details, Passport, Notepad and even a pen....Also in this pattern are three other small projects, a lipstick holder, a toiletry bag (small tote) and a survival kit.... 

The survival kit holds all those bits that hang around the bottom of your handbag such as, headache tablets, toothpicks, band aides, cotton buds, tampons, even a condom if you like....they are even handy for you teenage daughters school bags to put their sanitary items so they are not easily noticed by others.....I remember being embarrassed as a young girl trying to hide them while i went to the ladies room....

I used these four items on my first overseas trip last April, had a ball in the USA.....

Hearts and Dragonfly's

Hearts and Dragonfly's is my latest quilt pattern,  I have a love of dragonfly's and wanted them in my new design....every block has a satin stitched dragonfly on it along with other stitcheries and applique..... There are twelve blocks and two borders, one border had small dragonfly's stitched around it and the other is a scalloped edge border.

The first four patterns will contain three blocks each and the fifth pattern is for the borders and construction of quilt...I used an antique flower range of fabrics....

In Trouble

If anyone reads my page, I must apologise for my slackness....A friend, not naming anyone...Helena, well she told me to stop being slack and put something on my blog......so here goes...

In the last few months, it has been hectic....I sold my house, I bought a Block of land, I went on a fantastic trip to Las Vegas and Hawaii it was fabulous......I became a grandmother for the second time....another boy, his name is Jayden Lee Fitzsimmons....very cute. Jessica, Quentin and Taylor are very happy...and we had a 21st birthday party for my other Daughter Samantha....I will supply photo's of all my activities in the last few months soon....

Also been slack with stitchin...Not enough Hours in the day....anyhow I have nearly completed my Hearts and Dragon fly quilt.....it is looking very nice, I will post photos soon....so keep an eye out....

You can make the quilt, which uses 9 designs...you can pick and choose to make the quilt unique to you...You can also use the designs in wallhangings, cushions or even on a little bag....

The quilt pattern is included in the booklet...and it is more economical than a block of the month....
